Final Day Oct 3

New Provincial Health Requirements

** updated September 16 **

As the province heads into the most recent state of emergency, the velodrome will remain open as outdoor sports are not impacted due to the lower risk profile - simply put, please continue to ride and train on the velodrome as you normally would.  That said, there are a few things that we will be re-introducing to remain aligned with the province as follows:

  1. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines while in the infield or in the stands.
  2. When going into any indoor structure (garage, storage, porta-potty), please wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
  3. Listen to and respect all instructions from staff at all times.  We are all in this together and our staff is here to help everyone train hard and remain safe.
  4. Most importantly, if you feel sick or think you may have been in close contact with a suspected or confirmed case of Covid 19, please stay home and follow the AHS guidelines.

Finally, as we see more encouragement from the province in relation to vaccines, we recommend members consider vaccinations to protect themselves and other members.

Final Day and AGM

If you're still wanting to get in some hot laps and pre-fall training, we have open sessions running until Sunday October 3, after which we will be shutting the velodrome for the winter.  Final rider sign up sheets are now posted in the Rider Sign Up page.

Also, please pencil in Tuesday October 26 for another virtual AGM.  Exact date/time/details will be sent to our current members via email in the next few weeks.
